Class Description: Pen15, Succession, The Office, Key and Peele: we love comedies for their specific styles. What techniques do they use and how can we apply them to our improv scenework?
We’ll take an interdisciplinary approach of craft talks, TV comedy study, and improv exercises to explore how different tools can be used to create and sustain tone across scenes and shows.

About Nick Mandernach: Nick Mandernach has been improvising for 15 years at UCB. He performs with JV and the improvised emo band Every Place I Cry. He’s also written on TV shows like: Duncanville, People of Earth, Upload, I Feel Bad and Young Sheldon(!!)
