Class Description:
PRE-REQUISITE: You must have finished level 2 at WGIS, level 201 at UCB or two levels at any long-form improv school to take this course.
Actions have consequences, even for the weirdos we're playing in improv scenes. But we often get so caught up in playing up the dumbness of our unusual behavior that we forget to be affected by it. In this workshop we will practice noticing the way our characters' behaviors impact their lives, giving us a framework for funnier, more playable scenes.

About Laney Serface: Laney is an actor, writer, and the Artistic Director of WGIS. She is on teams Small Business and Nooni at WGIS, as well as long time indie team Old Milk. She is a recurring guest star on YouTube sketch channels That's a Bad Idea with Curry Barker and Cooper Tomlinson, I'm Sorry, What?, and Read the Room with Josh Richards. At WGIS she performs in Small Business Supports Small Business, Cardinal Redbird/Nooni, and Living Room Living Room. She can often be found brewing a pot of coffee at the WGIS box office.
